On The Road 2: Electric Boogaloo

Pre Post Addendum: I'm home now, though I did write this in the truck, I was unable to post due to a shoddy connection from my phone hotspot. Damn you, technology!!

Also, I've had to cancel the Sunday Podcast this week, for obvious reasons. It shall return next Sunday!

I'm in the truck again, and since my laptop is digging into my wrists a little bit, this one really is going to be short. Even though every time I say that they aren't short. This one will be.

Two jobs in one day today, but it's the good kind of two jobs where I find out very early that I will be working a long day. I would much rather have it this way then be just finishing up the first job, thinking about what I'll be doing when I get home, then getting the call to go back to work. It's much better for my mental health when I can prepare myself for the long hours.

I've started listening to the ASOIAF (A Song of Ice and Fire) books again. For those more familiar with the TV show that's Game of Thrones. It really makes me remember how much I love the series, as the books are so much more detailed. The worldbuilding Martin does is simply incredible. So many small, seemingly insignificant characters and houses, and that's what makes re-listening so great, because you pick up on all these names early on that become significant later.

I've also started playing a new roleplaying game called Crimson West, on reddit. It's text based like ITP is. It's based in the american south west in the late 1800's, and I play a distillery owner and his wife and workers. The game has just started up, but the setting really interests me, and I can't wait to get into it. If you want to check it out, click here.

That's about it for today. Not many things happen to write about when my day is 90% driving. And my arms are getting sore from typing at an awkward angle, so I'm out. Thanks for reading.
