Ira Yake was born in the town of Fort St. John, British Columbia, but raised in Goodlow, a small community just outside of town. He grew up with an older sister and many pets including cats, dogs, fish, and horses. Ira went to Clearview Elementary Junior Secondary school for 11 years, from kindergarten all the way to grade 10, then attended high school at North Peace Secondary in Fort St. John. He studied for 2 years at Thompson Rivers University before leaving to pursue other career opportunities. Ira has been an avid reader from a young age and currently lives in his hometown of Goodlow with his dog and 2 cats. He enjoys playing the guitar and video games as well as hiking, snowboarding, and binge watching Netflix. Ira's birthday is March 7th, and he is 23 years old.
